The 103rd Entry Association

103rd Entry Shield

The Entry Association was formed on 16th June 1990.

Its main aim is to try to get in touch with as many members of the original entry as possible and to hold a reunion every 5 years or sooner.

The 103rd Entry of Aircraft Apprentices from No. 1 School of Technical Training at RAF Halton, near Wendover and Aylesbury, did their training from January 1963 through to December 1965. This small web site is a nostalgic reminder of the time spent during those years. The 103rd Entry has an active Association, which was formed on 16th June 1990, and has held a number of reunions. We also have our Entry Window in St. Georges Church at RAF Halton. Hopefully this site will also be of interest to others who trained as Trenchard’s “Brats”, and to anyone with an interest in RAF Halton. The site has grown as people send in old photos of those days from January 1963 till December 1965.

We have had nine reunions since the Association’s inception: 1990, 1995, 2000, 2003, 2008, 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2022 The next is to be planned.

The Association committee meets 2 or 3 times a year at various locations, usually at one of the committee member’s houses.

We have about 60 members in the association at present and are always looking to increase the numbers. Are you a member? Why not join now.
If you have not had any contact with the Association and want to get in touch, just mail Chris at and he will make sure your request gets passed on to the relevant person.
