RAFHAA Reunion 2022

The RAFHAA Reunion 2022 at RAF Halton was supported by 6 ex103rd entry members: Les Shardlow, Chris Wales, Brian Lee, Les Garden, Malcolm Watts and Ken Bannister plus another 600 odd from other entries ranging from 52nd to 153rd entry and 200 & 300 series entries. A great day with the RAF Falcon display team dropping in from above, a sing-along from the D-Day Darlings and later with a low fly over from the BBMF Lancaster. There was a display from the Golden Oldies Pipes & Drums with Ken Bannister keeping the timing on the big bass drum.  Then to end the day was the march past with Lord Trenchard (Grandson of Lord Trenchard) and the Station Commander taking the final salute. The weather couldn’t have been better. A nostalgic day.
