After the disappointing postponement for 2021, due to the Covid pandemic, we at last managed to achieve a successful reunion. The Woodland Manor Hotel was a excellent choice.
Entry members began arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon and having booked in they soon found their way to the place they know best – the bar. Here, we all soon familiarised ourselves with faces trying to put a name to them and yes, the beer flowed.
The evening was a great social event. As usual there was a raffle and an auction which helped raise some funds for the Association.
On the Sunday morning after breakfast many departed but a number of us went to the Shuttleworth Air Museum and gardens. A great place to visit if you have not been there.
All in all we had a successful and nostalgic reunion catching up with old colleagues.
