The 103rd Entry of Aircraft Apprentices from No. 1 School of technical Training at RAF Halton, near Wendover and Aylesbury, did their training from January 1963 through to December 1965. This small web site is a nostalgic reminder of the time spent during those years. The 103rd Entry has an active Association, and has now held three reunions. We also have our Entry Window in St. Georges Church at RAF Halton. Hopefully this site will also be of interest to others who trained as Trenchard's "Brats", and to anyone with an interest in RAF Halton. The site has grown as people send in old photos of those days from January 1963 till December 1965. The six main pages of the site are listed at the top of the page, just below the title, but there are plenty of sub-pages below those. There is a full Table of Contents at the bottom of this page as a site map. Make sure you visit all the pages! From each main page (listed above or below in bold) you can select any other main page or return to this Home Page. From each sub page of a main page you visit or any of the related topics, you can return to that main page or this Home Page. Main page titles are in blue and sub-page titles in yellow. The area on the right gives a quick overview of news and recent changes. Any photos, news, suggestions or comments on the site contents can be mailed to me by clicking information@103rd-entry.org.uk To join the Association just click the Association Membership link below. |
I have had a great selection of photos sent to me from Richard'Boot' Hughes. He had been looking through some old photos came up with some real great memorabilia
from our days at Halton. I am always looking for photos to add to the site, so why not take a look through your old photos and see what may be hidden there from those great days way back in 1963 to 1965 we all spent at RAF Halton. Send anything you have to me, Chris Wales at information@103rd-entry.org.uk See below for the next committee meeting venue. You may or may not be aware but there is a move to change the Association title The minutes from the December 2011 meeting are available for viewing. Next Committee Meeting: Date: 26th May 2012 If you want anything brought up at the meeting then please e-mail me at:- information@103rd-entry.org.uk |
